"Signature Series" Shield - Lt. Ray McCormack
Ray McCormack joined the FDNY in 1981 and is a lieutenant with Ladder 28 in Harlem. He is the co-creator of Urban Firefighter Magazine and on the editorial board at FireEngineering Magazine. He delivered the keynote at the FDIC Fire Department Instructors Conference in 2009 and is the author of Tactical Safety for Firefighters.
The shield is a replica of Lt. Ray McCormack’s FDNY Engine Company 69 that he wore for many years of his career. You can just barely make out the look of the original shield in the picture shared; evidence of a long and heroic career.
Firefighter Michael Davidson's Educational Fund
